Course Content
The Purpose of this class is to prepare students with entry level skills for the television or film industries, or for advanced training in college or trade-schools after graduation. Students will write, tape, and edit videos suitable for TV or Film distribution.
The class is divided into two sections and changes at the semester. In one section the emphasis is on TV style work. Students will produce the "Wildcat News", broadcast school events and activities, and produce commercials, movie trailers, and animated computer graphics. In the second section of the class will focus on film related activities. Students will create original videos, write scripts, and learn about how films are made from concept to completion.
